Excursion Palm Grove Of Marrakesh - 1 Day
The Marrakesh palm grove counts over 100,000 trees, most of them palm trees extending over a surface of more than 15,000 hectar. The palm grove’s story goes back to the XII century, where the Almoravide dynasty established their power in Marrakesh. The Marrakesh palm grove was created by rulers from Berber origin. We go on a camel trip for half an hour to the heart of the palm grove and refresh ourselves with a soft drink or drink at Nikki Beach. At night we take our dinner at the restaurant Le Comptoir.
EXCELLENTVerified Intense and joyful experience We spent seven days in Morocco. The first and last in Marrakech, where the first day Hassan showed us the city in perfect Spanish. The other five were spent with Omar, whom we felt as part of the family from the first moment. The trip was perfectly organized. The riads we stayed in in Marrakech, Ourzazate and Dades, lovely clean and cozy hotels, the jaima next to the dunes in Merzouga, luxury. All in all, the highlight of the trip was Omar’s continued attention, and the amount of information he provided. Throughout the trip he explained everything we saw, and we kept riddling him with questions about any aspect of Moroccan culture, which he answered profusely and kindly. That's priceless.
